CEO Dashboard Direction Expanded

As the CEO Dashboard moved through development, the original goal was to create better project visibility for business owners.

The dashboard was designed to help owners see what is in progress, what is coming due, and what needs attention, so important work does not fall through the cracks.

That core need is still important, but development revealed a larger opportunity.

After reviewing the system with our developer, it became clear that project visibility is only one part of the bigger picture. Business owners do not just need to see their work. They need a way to connect the work they are doing each day back to the larger plan for the business.

That realization has expanded the direction of the project.

Rather than remaining a standalone dashboard, the system is being reshaped into a more connected business planning and execution tool. The naming and positioning will be updated to reflect that broader direction.

Sometimes the full picture does not become clear until the puzzle pieces start coming together.

That is what happened here.

The original dashboard concept remains an important part of the system, but it is now connected to a broader purpose: helping business owners plan, organize, and manage the work that moves their business forward.
